Brown Travertine Slabs For Flooring
Brown Travertine Slabs feature natural wavy layered veins with warm brown & golden tone, mainly mined from Denizli, Turkey. Available in filled/unfilled pores and honed finish. Inspect pore filling standard, slab cracks and batch color uniformity before purchase. Sealing treatment is required for porous structure. Quarry grade determines raw block yield rate and final cost, suitable for high-end residential and commercial indoor & outdoor decoration projects.
Product description
Brown Travertine Slabs (Noce Brown Travertine Slabs) are among the most opulent, earthy, and globally admired natural surface materials in modern luxury architecture and high-end interior design — a dense, fine-grained sedimentary stone formed through rich mineral precipitation in geothermal hot springs over geological epochs. Its hallmark is a deep walnut, warm mocha, and rich chocolate-brown backdrop, running with continuous horizontal caramel ribbons, delicate cream striations, and subtle hazelnut-tinted linear pore structures when vein-cut. Celebrated for its profound chromatic depth, organic visual warmth, and natural thermal insulating properties, Brown Travertine represents the pinnacle of rustic elegance and contemporary architectural sophistication. Its striking tonal contrast, expressive linear movement, and durable physical structure make these gangsaw slabs the premier material of choice for luxury residential flooring, exterior and interior feature wall cladding, fireplace surrounds, bathroom vanities, and bespoke cut-to-size stonework worldwide.

Processing & Machinery Assessment
FABRICATION & SLAB PROCESSING SUITABILITY
These slabs are produced from selected quarry blocks using state-of-the-art gangsaw machinery and diamond multi-wire saws, ensuring uniform slab thickness calibration, flat surface geometry, and high structural stability. Standard slab dimensions range from L-(240–300) cm × H-(140–180) cm in standard thicknesses of 1.8 cm, 2.0 cm, and 3.0 cm, offering maximum net surface yield for high-impact architectural fabrication. Brown Travertine’s cohesive mineral matrix and well-defined vein orientation allow for smooth diamond bridge-saw cutting, precision waterjet profiling, and custom edge detailing with minimal risk of chipping, making it an extraordinary candidate for continuous vein-matched feature walls and seamless floor layouts.
- Recommended Processing: Gangsaw or multi-wire saw slabbing (1.8 cm, 2 cm & 3 cm), followed by full-surface net-backing reinforcement, transparent or color-matched epoxy/cementitious resin pore filling, face calibration, and high-gloss polishing or velvety satin honing (optimized for Vein-matching)
- Expected Slab Yield: High net recovery with a standard yield of approximately 72–82 slabs per raw block (based on 1.8 cm thickness)
- Finish/Polish Result: A luminous mirror-polished surface when resin-filled that enhances its deep chocolate and mocha tones, or a velvety matte-honed finish that highlights the rich, organic warmth of its natural sedimentary veining
