Grade : Standard Grade
Price : $65 /M²

Green Verde Butterfly Granite Slabs are natural green granite slabs selected from Brazilian, South African and selected international Verde green granite quarry resources. The surface shows verde green, emerald green, dark olive, black and silver-grey crystalline flecks and dark green granular speckling with silver-grey highlights and balanced black mineral depth. With density around 2.65 - 2.88 g/cm3, water absorption < 0.30% and compressive strength 160 - 240 MPa, the material is suitable.

Product description

Green Verde Butterfly Granite Slabs are natural granite slabs designed for projects requiring green natural color, durable stone performance and practical long-term decorative value. The selected material is associated with Brazilian, South African and selected international Verde green granite quarry resources; blocks are chosen for dark green base and stable polished finish. It presents verde green, emerald green, dark olive, black and silver-grey crystalline flecks, giving the finished tile a recognizable green granite character rather than marble, quartzite, blue labradorite or artificial stone.

The stone body has dense Verde green granite crystalline texture with fine-to-medium mineral grains and low-porosity structure. Its visual layout is defined by dark green granular speckling with silver-grey highlights and balanced black mineral depth. This helps designers create broad floor and wall surfaces with a natural green tone while maintaining controlled visual continuity across the installation.

Granite is formed through slow crystallization and geological compression, so Green Verde Butterfly Granite Slabs provide reliable hardness, compression resistance and dimensional stability. They are recommended for floor slabs, wall cladding, stair slabs, bathroom walls, retail interiors and covered exterior decoration. Sealing is advised for wet zones, food areas and exterior environments to improve stain resistance and simplify maintenance.

Color: verde green, emerald green, dark olive, black and silver-grey crystalline flecks; each batch should be checked by dry layout before installation because natural green granite may show mineral and tone differences.

Surface Finish Available: Honed / Polished / Brushed / Tumbled / Sandblasted / Bush-hammered / Flamed / Leathered

Product Form: Natural Granite Slabs

Texture: dense Verde green granite crystalline texture with fine-to-medium mineral grains and low-porosity structure. polished finish produces deep Verde shine; flamed and brushed finishes are suitable for practical walking surfaces.

Density: 2.65 - 2.88 g/cm3 (stable compactness for long-term tile service)

Water Absorption: < 0.30% (sealing treatment recommended according to finish and installation area)

Compressive Strength: 160 - 240 MPa (suitable for normal architectural tile applications)

Abrasion Resistance: excellent wear resistance for long-term floor and wall tile service

GANGSAW SUITABILITY

Green Verde Butterfly Granite Slabs raw blocks are compatible with standard gangsaw processing equipment for slab and tile cutting. The stone features stable internal crystalline structure and practical finished-product yield. Dark green granular speckling with silver-grey highlights and balanced black mineral depth help the finished slabs retain a recognizable natural appearance after calibration, edge trimming and surface finishing.

Recommended Processing: Gangsaw slabs (1.8 cm & 2 cm), followed by calibration, edge trimming and honed / polished / brushed / tumbled / flamed surface treatment

Expected Slab Yield: Approximately 76-86 slabs per block (based on 1.8 cm thickness)

Polish Result: polished finish produces deep Verde shine; flamed and brushed finishes are suitable for practical walking surfaces The final surface should be inspected under project lighting to confirm tone, mineral visibility and batch consistency.

About

Country and Quarry Origin

ommercial stone references identify Quarry RN 000165, located around Córrego do Jão, Vila Pavão, in the northern part of Espírito Santo, Brazil. For large projects, slabs should be selected from the s

Texture

The stone has a coarse- to very coarse-grained crystalline texture. Although commercially classified as granite, it is more precisely described geologically as a dark grey-green quartz monzonite, composed mainly of feldspar, quartz and dark minerals. Its dense crystalline structure gives the polished surface excellent depth and visual richness

Pattern and Veining

Verde Butterfly Granite features a deep forest-green to dark grey-green background covered with irregular black, grey, white and brown mineral clusters. The interlocking crystals create a dynamic pattern resembling overlapping butterfly wings. The overall appearance is relatively uniform from a distance, although mineral size, color concentration and movement vary naturally between slabs.

Durability

This material offers excellent durability for demanding residential and commercial projects. It has good resistance to abrasion, scratching, heat, frost and normal weather exposure, making it suitable for countertops, flooring, wall cladding, stairs, fireplaces, façades and selected outdoor applications. Published reference values indicate low water absorption, but project-specific test certificates should be requested because physical properties can vary by quarry face and production lot.

Acid Sensitivity

Verde Butterfly Granite has good resistance to common household and kitchen acids because it is primarily a silicate-based stone. It is considerably more acid-resistant than marble or limestone and is suitable for kitchen worktops. However, it is not completely acid-proof. Neutral stone cleaners are recommended, and prolonged contact with strong acids or hydrofluoric-acid products must be avoided because hydrofluoric acid attacks silicate minerals, including granite Green Verde Butterfly Granite Slabs are premium Brazilian natural-stone slabs distinguished by their deep green background and expressive butterfly-like mineral pattern. Coarse black, grey, white and brown crystals create a rich, dimensional appearance that becomes especially attractive after polishing. The material combines elegant natural coloring with excellent strength, low moisture absorption and reliable resistance to wear, heat and normal kitchen acids. It is suitable for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, flooring, wall panels, stairs, fireplaces and architectural cladding. As every slab is naturally formed, full-slab inspection and batch matching are recommended before fabrication.
